Presentation with automatic timings AND manual override?
Hello everyone, sometime lurker, first time poster.
I'm building a fairly complex Powerpoint presentation that, due to some external limitations, forces me to stack up some serious animation builds. Several slides have 60 - 70 animation events and a similar number of elements for example. What I'd ideally like to do is create the presentation so the user has the option of either: a) sitting and watching the full presentation with predetermined timings from start to finish with no user input, or b) as above but with the option of mouse clicking to advance to the next animation trigger if they wish to skip forward or happen to miss a paragraph. Is that possible? I've set the presentation up in Kiosk mode. Mouse clicking advances to the next slide, which I'll settle on but would prefer the next animation event. I have also tried adding action buttons but cannot seem to program them to control animation events. Apologies if this has been addresssed before. I've done my Googling but haven't turned up anything exactly on topic. Thanks for reading |
